The heat flow meter calculates the difference between them by measuring the input and output temperatures with external and internal (on the housing at compact meters) temperature sensors (?T).
Beside this measures the flow meter the hot water amount (m3/h) passing through the installation.
Heat flow meters, calculating the consumed energy (kW) by these measured values, aloows the distribution of the heating costs according to the consumption values.
Heat flow meters consist of three basic components.
Flowmeter (measures the heating water amount in the radiators of the appartment)
Heat sensor set (measures the heat value of the heating water prior to entering the apartment and the temperature when exiting the apartment after having circulated through the radiators)
Calculation unit (calculates the consumed energy (kW) by the amount of the heating water circulating in the radiators of the apartment (m3/h) + input of the heating water circulating in the radiators of the apartment – return temperature difference (°C) values).
Heat flow meters calculate the consumen energy by measuring the flow rate through the pipe with flow meters, the temperature difference between the input and output pipe line temperature difference with heat sensors.
